  18. Prepared for a stupid newbie question ?  I have an extremely simple
  19. script, like so:

  21. telnet 192.168.2.20
  22. pause 3
  23. output wonk\13
  24. pause
  25. output elvis\13

  27. I know that I should be using inputs to identify the usename and
  28. password prompts, but I removed them to try to determing the source of
  29. the problem.  Well, this script happily connects to the host in
  30. question, and then.... does nothing.  It never outputs the first text
  31. string, "wonk".  If I control-c the session, it appears to want to try
  32. to send the data after the session is closed.  It also does not work
  33. without the pause (I tried removing it.).  With input statements in
  34. place, same problem,  the script does not appear to ever get to the
  35. point that it even evaluates the input. Just a connect, and then... a
  36. coma.  Ideas ?  Am I connecting the wrong way ?

  38. I am using k95, fully patched, including security on win98.  Kermit ini
  39. is totally vanilla, nothing in custom.  Help!
